For the purpose of a detailed study of specific diversity of amber and exchange of experience with leading European scientists studying physical and chemical properties of amber, thematic meetings in Paris (France) and Rome (Italy) were held. These events took place with the financial support of the Riga 2014 Foundation within the framework of the project Amber Road: Towards the Future of Latvia in the World.
