In cooperation with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency and company “JLU Technologies”, in the framework of the project "Development of foreign market - external marketing", company “JLU Technologies” took an active part in the
International Textile Fair Dubai - 2015. There were exhibited all the necessary materials for the successful presentation of amber yarns in the stand F18, including products which were presented with amber yarn in their structure.

The International Textile Fair hosted its maiden edition at Dubai World Trade Centre on 26-27of April 2015 and now in Oct 2015.

The United Arab Emirates is now becoming the world’s leading centre for textile industry automation with the presence of about 150 apparel manufacturing companies. Accounting for about 5.5 percent of the world’s annual textile and clothing sales, the UAE has today become the world’s fourth largest trading centre of fashion and apparel.

INTERNATIONAL TEXTILE FAIR attracts designers, buyers and product developers who come not only to maintain existing relationships but work also to source and develop new and exciting products. Being in Dubai, not only is the fair extremely convenient for all customers but it provides a fantastic opportunity to find inspirational, relevant and directional collections.

At the International Textile Fair, the Apparel companies will gain a platform to showcase their spring / summer collection to new and established retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers and also build brand identity to drive sales higher.

The two-day fair attracted textile manufacturers and designers from China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Indonesia, Italy, including from Latvia and other countries.

Get new technology first!

RTU pilot products demonstrates the world's biggest exhibition “Hannover Messe 2015".

In cooperation with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency Riga Technical University (RTU)  took part in the exhibition “Hannover Messe 2015", which took place from 13 - 17 April 2015.

Riga Technical University on exebition “Hannover Messe 2015" in Germany, demonstrated developed by scientists products and technologies. RTU presented: innovative biodegradable materials used in medicine, and biotextile materials, also demonstrated technology of the production of biofuels, and renewable energy resource implemented in household electricity circuit.
For visitors from the RTU were presented eight exhibits, one of them - biotextile material - composite amber fiber. Products made from amber fibers have biocompatibility with human tissue, the material does not cause allergic reactions, promotes skin regeneration, protects against UV radiation and prevents the formation of blood clots.

Therefore, the product of composite amber fibers are used as preventive and therapeutic products, such as hosiery and compression belt.
